I want to love Campari, so badly, but I’ve been trying off and on for 20 years without luck. The problem is that it smells and looks so good, so I order Campari drinks, and then yuck. Any suggestions for a wannabe Campari lover?

When I make it, I always strive for a similar sweet/sour/bitter balance to that of fresh grapefruit juice. Depending on your lemons, you may need to add a little extra simple syrup to balance the drink.
