Italian Bar Menus

It is worth noting that at the time of our trip 1 Euro was worth about $1.50. Thus, a 5 Euro drink is about $7.50 and that “Old Fashion (doppio)” at Harry’s Bar would set you back about $31.

Sangria and what looks like Mojito Punch. These girls were smart alecks, telling me it was 3 euros for a picture and 4 for a drink.

The Singapore Sling seems a little out of place on this menu.

  1. I had the Bellini in Harry’s Bar, well, because I just had to… but I won’t do it again. We had a Bellini and an Old Fashioned. The size of the drinks and their prices made our jaws drop. That wasn’t the worst though. The bartender was rude and was visibly stressed. All the employees were running like chickens with their heads cut off and the energy in the room made me uneasy. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Sad, really. I wanted to like it so much. I was hoping for a great experience.

    • Everything about a Campari Mojito makes sense to me except the mint, but I haven’t tried it yet.

I need to put that, and the Cynar Mojito, on my todo list. Oh, and maybe the Fernet Branca Mojito…
